little vampire

okay seriously look at that face... he has the sweetest little smile I have ever seen. :) he is a rolling and crawling maniac and I can't keep him still.

Most babies get their bottom teeth first but not mine! I have a little vampire! these two teeth were Tristan's first... followed closely by the bottom two.

I look at this picture and it almost makes me cry. This is truly my sons personality... he is the happiest sweetest baby on this planet!

He is just so sweet. I just cant even believe how much I could love this little boy! Look at his sweet face. I am the luckiest mama in the world!

CRAWLING!!!!

Tristan is Crawling!!! He has totally figured out the army crawl! He is amazing! My little genius 7 and a little bit month old is a crawler! BIG BOY!

Update on Tristan :)

I can't believe all the milestones Tristan has hit in this past month. He is becoming so active and crazy! I am loving every minute of it

We Took Tristan to Zeppe to celebrate his first teeth! He got a TINY taste of ice cream but I let him have a few tastes of the water ice. HE LOVED IT! His first tooth was his right side fang! followed by two bottom teeth 3 days later and the left side fang about a week and a half after that!

This is the first time Tristan sat up in a big boy high chair! Drinking water from a straw from grammy.

He is the sweetest little snuggle bug! I am so lucky he will still do this occasionally!

Sitting up is coming, not quite there but we are working on it!

6 month appointment

We went to the doctor today and it was awful! 4 SHOTS! My poor little guy has been so so so grumpy tonight. Hopefully he will be better in the morning. Anyways, he is only 25 and 1/2 inches long so he is still on the short side. But his weight is 18.5 lbs so he is very healthy. We started on veggies today and he LOVED them. Yay baby So fun!

Oh boy oh boy....

Tristan is 6 months old~

In the last month he has learned to roll over both ways, has decided he loves rice cereal, has discovered his voice and that he can scream very loud. He has a giggle that can melt your heart, and a smile that is just as sweet as can be. I cannot believe its already been a half of a year. I hope the next 6 months are as sweet as the last six have been. Every stage is so fun and I cant wait to hear the rest.

February of last year Chris started working at rent-a-center. So in just over a year he has never had a whole weekend off, he has driven an hour to get to work, and worked with seriously annoying customers. In October he decided he was not going to get stuck at Rent-a-Center for the rest of his life and enrolled in school. Beforehand he asked his manager Victor if he would be willing to work with him and he said he would. Well at the beginning of the year Victor was fired and they brought a new guy in who was also "fine" with working with his schedule. Well last week the new guy tells Chris that "the regional manager" has decided if Chris can't work the hours they want him to, he can't work there anymore and needs to find a new job. Heaven forbid he should want to go to school to better himself!??!?!?!? Anyways chris has been applying for every computer job he could find.
So he interviwed for a job today, a job that he would enjoy and give him experience in his area of emphasis in his degree. And it would be the PERFECT job for our family. We would be able to eat dinner together at a decent hour and spend some time before he has to go to school. The pay is good enough that I probably wouldn't have to go back to work and could continue to stay home with our sweet baby boy! He would only have a 10-15 minute commute. and one of the best parts... AFFORDABLE BENEFITS! So prayers please people. MUCH NEEDED, MUCH APPRECIATED!
